Percy Weasley is a fictional character from the Harry Potter Universe.
BackgroundPercy Weasley is the third oldest brother of the Weasley's. He is in his fifth year when Harry and Ron enter their first. By then he is a prefect and the top of his class. Percy is decribed in the book as a tall, lanky man with horned rimmed glasses and (obviously) fiery red hair.
Percy isn't really ever a big part of the Harry Potter series, other than a few moments. In the second book the only thing he does is get a girlfriend, Penelope Clearwater, whom is petrified by the Basilisk. In the third book, Prisoner of Azkaban, Percy is promoted to Head Boy along with his girlfriend, Penelope Clearwater. In the fourth book is where he makes the biggest change. He is now out of school and is an assistant to Barty Crouch. In the beggining of the book, he has to write cauldron reports about the depth of a cauldron's bottoms. After Crouch is taking "sick" days, he is now one of the judges for the Triwizard Tournament. He gives Harry good scores and argues for him to get better ones in the second task. In the next book, Percy is promoted to Junior Assistant of the Minister of Magic, and disowns his family, except Ron. He tells Ron to stay away from Harry in a letter from him. In the seventh book is when he comes around. At the end of the book when they are fighting against Voldemort, Percy joins everyone and apoligzes to his family.
