Diagon Alley

Diagon Alley is a fictional setting from the Harry Potter Universe.

[edit] Background

Diagon Alley, the wizarding high street located in London, is only accessible to wizards, hidden from Muggles. The only Muggles given access are those accompanying their Muggle-born children. Wizards seeking access to Diagon Alley by foot will pass through The Leaky Cauldron, an inn invisible to Muggles who walk past from the Muggle side. Wizards can then get to Diagon Alley by heading out the back door of The Leaky Cauldron, and tapping a brick (found by counting three up and two across) on the wall behind the inn. The brick wall will then morph into an arch, allowing wizards to enter Diagon Alley.
As Diagon Alley is one of the most busiest places in Wizard England, most wizards choose to get there by Magical ways such as apparition or by floo, rather than by foot through London.
