Salazar Slytherin

Salazar Slytherin is a fictional character from the Harry Potter Universe

Salazar Slytherin was one of the original four founders of Hogwarts, as well as a Parseltongue. He chose students to come into his house depending on their cunning, determination, resourcefulness and purity of blood. He left after an arguement with the other founders, who believed that Muggle-Born children should be allowed into the school, while Slytherin didn't agree. He built the Chamber of Secrets beneath the school, before leaving and never returning again.
