Olympe Maxime is a fictional character from the Harry Potter Universe.
"Madame" Olympe Maxime is the headmistress of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and is half-giantess. She was first introduced in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire when she and her students arrived at Hogwarts by a carriage drawn by twelve winged horses.
 The Goblet of Fire
Beauxbatons participated in the Triwizard Tournament, which was hosted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The champion picked for Beauxbatons was Fleur Delacour, and Madame Maxime helped her along the way of the tournament. She was incensed that Dumbledore could allow there to be a fourth champion to participate in the tournament.
Rubeus Hagrid, the gamekeeper of Hogwarts, tried to impress Olympe in many ways when Beauxbatons arrived. He made poor attempts at gelling his hair, wearing fancy suits, and romancing her. They danced together at the Yule Ball, and eventually left the castle to stroll and talk along Hogwarts grounds. There, Hagrid explained about his half-giant blood and presumed that Olympe was, as well. Olympe was greatly offended and stormed off. Hagrid also showed Olympe the dragons for one of the Triwizard Tournament challenges, although she was not supposed to see them.
 The Order of the Phoenix
Olympe and Hagrid went together to give the Giants a message from Albus Dumbledore. Hagrid explained to Harry, Hermione, and Ron that Olympe did excellent spells and was very quick. However, Olympe and Hagrid separated midway through the trip going back to Hogwarts, as he brought along his Giant brother, Grawp.
 The Half-Blood Prince
