Background

Dumbledore's Army is an organistion founded by Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley in order to teach Defence Against the Dark Arts. The first metting of the group was in The Hogs Head. The group was created because the subject teacher refused to teach practical lessons, and wanted to only teach a theory based lessons. The group was found out when one of its members went and told Umbridge, after it was found it, the group broke up, and was restarted by Neville Longbottom, Ginny Weasley, and Luna Lovegood the year Hogwarts become controlled by Voldemort. During the second Wizarding War Dumbledore's Army played a vital role. With members fighting in many battles around the school.
