Professor Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore is a fictional character from the Harry Potter Universe.

Background

Dumbledore is described as an old man, with a long white beard, and long white hair. He wears half-cresant spectacles. He is an extrodinary wizard, widely regarded as the best in thw world. He is the headmaster at Hogwarts. Before he was, he was the Transfiguration teacher. He has been asked to be the Minister of Magic, but has declined many times. As a child, Dumbledore had two siblings. His brother, Aberforth, and sister. When he was around 17, he met another wizard named Grindelwald. They were fascinated by each other, and they wanted to make the world into their own. One day they had an argrument, and his sister was there. The anger was too much for her, and she did powerful magic that she could not control. She died, and Dumbledore blamed himself. When he older, he found Grindelwald, and he dueled him. Grindelwald was a great wizard, and he had the Elder Wand but Dumbledore still beat him. Dumbledore then had control over the Elder Wand but he did not use it. When Voldemorts, he created the Order of the Phoenix, which was a group against him.

History

Harry Potter was delivered on the doorstep of Privet Drive in a blanket, and he was put there by Dumbledore with a note explaining what had just happened to him. When Harry grew up, and he was in Hogwarts he saw Dumbledore when he at the Great Hall. Dumbledore gave Harry his father's Invisiblity Cloak. He met Harry at the Mirror of Erised.
